TeaParty365 was founded by David Webb, Kellen Giuda and Thomas Basile in February 2009, after Rick Santelli's now-famous “rant” on the floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, and is one of the original, independent Tea Party organizations in the United States.
For millions of Americans, Rick Santelli's impromptu outburst struck a deep and immediate chord. We realized that, over the years, little-by-little, we had moved far beyond the bedrock principles on which this great nation was founded.
Decades of mounting debt. Crippling deficits. Unimaginable amounts of red tape… and now, a financial crisis that nearly brought the world to its knees... everything had finally come to a head.
America’s strength as a nation has always been rooted in our people. Our dreams, innovations and drive are what has made our country great. And we found ourselves at the crossroads of history. We had a choice: we could continue on the current, destructive path, or we could roll up our sleeves, get educated, and actively help shape a better future for ourselves, our children, and our country.

TeaParty365 was founded to advocate for fiscal responsibility, free enterprise and liberty.
We believe that limited, effective and Constitutional government must be our collective goal in order for this nation to maintain its place as the world’s leader.
TeaParty365 supports like-minded candidates running for public office in the Tri-State Area, and reports on local and national government.
We also organize volunteers, host high-profile advocacy events, and create social and community-building programs. We drive our message through media, public relations and digital communications. Together with volunteers on-the-ground, and contributions by a range of notable experts, TeaParty365 is an aggregator of information and facilitator for action.
TeaParty365 serves as your voice to our elected and appointed officials and special interest groups that are leading America down a dangerous path – letting them know that Americans are indeed watching, and ready and willing to protect their values, and shape a bright, and prosperous future.
