Schumer, “Rough estimate from the city of New York, which I received yesterday, place the added cost of moving the trials of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and the other terrorist suspects to New York somewhere in the ballpark of $75 million, that’s a minimum.”
When questioned about security Schumer’s response was that the estimate could be another $25M. And these are just the first four.
What kind of worldwide attention will this trial provide the terrorists?
Sen Sessions, “I think this is causing quite a bit of concern. I see today that Gov Kean who chaired the 9/11 Commission says he thinks this is a mistake, that it will provide Khalid Sheikh Mohammed the position to be a martyr and a hero among Al Qaeda sympathizers around the world.”
These people are terrorists yet Holder insists the American people are more likely to obtain justice in federal court rather than military? KSM pleaded guilty and asked for the death sentence long ago, what else is there to know? How much more do we need to spend?
